Gyeongbokgung

During Chuseok (Mid Autumn Festival), almost all the shops are closed. The university is closed as well. I went to Gyeongbokgung. Gyeongbokgung was the main palace during the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910). One of five palaces in Seoul, it has a 600 year history.

Guards at the palace gate.

Main Shrine for the King

One of the building with the lake surrounding it.

Nice roof, and nice sky - no clouds at all on that day.

The Museum tower

In the garden, with a lake, and mountains behind the palace.

Mountain scenary behind the palace.

Seoul Police at the back gate of the palace... I thought they are people who ride rollers, but they are the police with their uniform.
